Veterinarian
Dr. Melissa Nestor was born and raised in the heart of Vero Beach, FL. After graduating from Vero Beach High School, she attended Florida State University, where she graduated with her degree in biology and minor in chemistry. During her undergraduate studies, she worked full time as a veterinary technician gaining all of the hands-on experience prior to attending veterinary school.
Dr. Nestor attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine located on the beautiful island of St. Kitts. She completed her clinical year at the University of Florida and recently graduated in the spring of 2022. Dr. Nestor loves her hometown of Vero Beach, FL, and decided to move back to practice veterinary medicine in the community she grew up in.
Her professional interests include feline medicine, preventative care and surgery. Dr. Nestor is fear free certified and aims to provide stress-free veterinary visits for her patients, especially cats.
Dr. Nestor enjoys spending quality time with her fiance Zak anywhere outdoors, on the water, and even doing house projects. They have four animals, two dogs named Molly and Grady, and two cats named Lilo and Peanut.
